Hi all
I haven’t posted for a while because, well, I haven’t.
Been running around, deejaying, playing at Premieres and even got a weeks holiday in!
If anyone’s in the area, I’ll be appearing at the Cheltenham Literary Festival on Oct 12th..

Great News Guy!
But the question is… do I really want to come and see you again? 😉
You were at The Ritzy on Saturday?

Hi guy
Just read the book. Very funny! I am sure Bryan doesn’t allow that kind of behaviour!
I saw some cool Icehouse videos on with a very young Guy Pratt on YouTube last night.

How marvelous to meet you at the Ritzy, Guy! And thanks for the kiss! (On the cheek, that is.…) 😉
I see that Mojo gave your book four stars. Well done!

Dear Guy, A fantastic DVD particularly amused by your scampering around during Richards Comfortably Numb plus the total look of admiration on your face for him during Echoes… the years just rolled away and once again he was playing in Pompeii… he really does get better all the time.l

- Congratulations! The book was an excellent read. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
- RTN is a truly amazing DVD in both quality and content and something to be proud of…
- A lot of us over here in North America are hoping to see your show one day…
Cheers… 🙂

Hey Guy,
I am from David’s blog as well posting for the first time. Look at all the fellow bloggers here…excellent.
I second Rudder’s request for you to come over to Canada and play Toronto. There are a lot of good British pubs in the area and I will be the first to buy you a pint either before or after the show.
Cheers, Howard

Hi Guy
Do you know if musics which you made for the “Hackers” movie in 1995 are available in trade?
Thank you for your answer
Cheers 🙂

Hi all!
I don’t know why but I had a problem with my first comment… So, I try again… It was just to say that the DVD “David Gilmour at the Royal Albert Hall” is just fantastic! It was great to see David Bowie singing Comfortably Numb and, of course, to see you playing bass Mr Pratt!
Hope to see you in concert one day…
Ed Lopez - September 24, 2007 11:58 PM
Hey Guy,
Congratulations on being part of such a successful DVD. Reading David Gilmour’s blog and news today (September 24th) it’s impressive to see his DVD rising up the charts quickly but not surprising. What a blessing to be a part of all this Pink Floyd and David Gilmour history!
This DVD is bound to be recognized as a classic and all of you who participated in it will have quite an iconic place in music history. Marie and I really hope your book is published in the US soon and that you are able to tour here. We hope that, at least while we are here in Utah, you don’t overlook Salt Lake City on your next tour. We also hope to see you in London in November if you book some tour dates — we’ll be in the area and Marie would love to see your show as she hasn’t been able to yet.
Ed
PS — Thanks for taking the time to chat for a bit outside the Groucho Club after the Odeon première. You went out of your way during a very busy time. This is why your fans appreciate you a great deal.

Hy Guy,
Last night I was seeing for the first time DG’s new DVD.
After the “too-too” “too-too” beat’s that introducted “Breath in the air” I didn’t resist and caught my stingray to play with you…
Why you didn’t use your fantastic natural (or black) stingray on this tour? During take a breath for istance…
I want to say thank’s for the fantastic description of your ton’s of effects at the end of the book (the book was wery wery hilarous and I was wery surprised when I discovered that you stayed near Milan (my home) in 1990 to had a recorded session with Robert Palmer!)
Good night Guy!
Stefano.
Goodnight.

my name is dave and i am a high school teacher in the chicago area. am also an amateur songwriter, guitarist and bassist. have been a long time fan of yours since first hearing you with pink floyd and bryan ferry while in college in the 80s. we met once, during the division bell tour back in ’94. still one of the best nights of my life! any news on bringing your new biography tour to the U.S.?
anyway, i just picked up the new David Gilmour DVD and saw you playing (i was unsuccessful in getting tickets when the tour came here) and found your website and thought i would drop you a line.
quick question for you. back in ’94, you gave me a very used guitar pick with your signature on it. i have it in a small frame with a Division Bell advertisment. when i opened up the new Gilmour DVD, there were pictures of several of david’s plectra so i thought i would write you to see if you had any new plectra???
i would be honored to have another one of your picks.
thanks for your time and the great music memories. hope to hear from you soon! be well.

Hi Guy, are you playing with Bryan Ferry in Belgrade?
We want to make a welcome banner 😉
And it would be plain stupid to carry it if you’re not there.…
Guy Pratt - October 2, 2007 2:20 PM
I am playing in Belgrade!!! Make banners!! Hundreds!!!I want to see a sea of them when I look out from the stage!!!! Sorry, got a bit carried away..
I am still using the picks from the 94 tour. It’s only PF who get them made for me!

Hi Guy,
I’ve been a fan since Delicate Sound Of Thunder and I am now reading your book which, I must say, has had me laughing out loud a few times. If you ever bring your stand-up routine to (western) Canada, I would love to see it.
Cheers
Chris
