   Hi Guy, just saw the docu on Ch4. I note you were using an Ashdown combo. I’m wrestling with an Ashdown ABM500 at mo; what set­tings did you use dur­ing the show?? Would be very grate­ful if you could let me know then I could try them and see if sounds bet­ter than the ones I’ve used thus far. Soz for the anorak type ques­tion! 🙂 Good luck with the tour.

    Hello Guy.
    How its going.
    Im from Argentina, and im very happy because this sat­ur­day i will see Roger Waters on stage. Wath do you think about him? Is he a good per­son? I think that Gilmour, Mason, Wrigth and Roger Waters too are more inter­ested in the money that in the music. I like pink floyd music to much.
    Is there any pos­si­bil­ity that David Gilmour comes to Argentina?
    Ok i think I have done to much ques­tions for this time.
    You now, I like very much the solo that yo do on One slip. Is that com­pli­cated? I play bass to.

    May I ask some­thing, you played gui­tar on Then I Clouse My Eyes in 2006 on David’s tour, I have never saw you on elec­tric gui­tar before, sorry, the ques­tion is:are you a very good gui­tar player?
    I also play the gui­tar, was won­der­ing what’s your favorite type of gui­tar? (brand, model…)

    It’s been a while since I checked in with you. Looks as though you’re keep­ing pretty busy this month, eh? Hope you’re enjoy­ing the tour and we’re still look­ing for­ward to that book of yours as well as the com­edy tour to fol­low.

    Just a sug­ges­tion, try to arrange your com­edy tour sched­ule to be in the Seattle area some­where just before or after August 18, if you know what I mean (wink, wink)! I’ll have a cabin ready for you along with a few crazy blog­ger­folk from that ‘other’ web­site ready to hoist a pint in your honor!! Actually, most of them are Irregulars on your web­site as well aren’t they?

    Hey Guy, Please come and relax at Gabreille’s resort on the 18^th of August. Its our first Barnfest 2007. The peo­ple who will be there are from Davids web Site. You would love it She has cabins,Pool, Hot Tub and there will be a huge Barbeque. Plus it is located on a beau­ti­ful river with 40 plus acres of land to hike. I know you are on a buzy sched­ule. But if you can bring the fam­ily and chill out for a few days and do some great fish­ing. Take Care, Thomas

    Some help­ful hints when in Scotland.

    1. Don’t refer to the locals as “Sweaties” as they tend to get upset. For those of you not accus­tomed to rhyming slang this means Sweaty Sock = Jock = Scottish Person

    2. They are kilts NOT skirts…

    last night seen the bryan ferry show in antwerp ( i was the shiny bald cue­ball on the front row ) well best show of the decade , a danc­ing audi­ence and a lot of fun on stage , andy new­mark and the pratt guy makes faces to onean­other , lovely to see !

    hi guy, saw you per­form­ing in düs­sel­dorf. great audi­ence, wasn‘t it? 😉 great show as well. i was stand­ing first row and really had to laugh some times when you and andy inter­acted for exam­ple in “sim­ple twist of fate”…great lit­tle moments…good luck for the tour! (i got the set list from the stage engi­neer- why was vir­ginia plain on it- but not per­formed as an encore? would be a great addi­tion to the set…simply love the old roxy stuff!) cu stef­fen from ger­many
