This is almost turning into a proper blog what with you all popping by regular and that..
Maybe you can suggest topics and we can get some ideas and exchanges going.

Off course it’s a proper blog. After all we have to give you an excuse to put off finishing the book, right? We wouldn’t want you to get overworked and overstressed. We’re strictly here for therapeutic value.
How about a few blogs on anecdotes from the DG tour? Maybe a story for each tour stop? I seem to recall a certain blogger exposing herself to you in a bar..
I’ve made it over here before, and thought I would finally say hi, as I see some of my fellow Irregulars from David’s board have stopped by.
If you do happen to make it to the east coast in the USA, you’ve got a good group of folks that will hopefully fill the house for you. We Irregulars are quite the loyal ones, and despite our name, fairly regular, and that’s with no extra fiber in our diets.
I’m really looking forward to the book, too.
So have a great weekend…

Haha, George.
That wuz a good one.
That would be an awsome show Guy, with all of us irregulars in attendance… he would feel our presence on stage with him, me thinks.
We could erect one very large back porch for pre and post show festivities.
Can ya dig it?
Interesting topic suggestion Bobalicious.

(I thought it was a proper blog already?)
Ideas for topics. Oooh, that’s a dangerous invitation. Lah lah lah.
Well, obviously, topics and such regarding the tours and book and all are pretty much in the ‘well DUH!!!’ category. Natterings about music and instruments would probably turn into a rather educational thread (especially as my poor bass needs a good luthier right now or I need to learn this stuff myself).
Maybe a respectful thread on politics might be in order, given how a number of us are not fans of the current régime in the US — although that’s no reason for those who are fans to keep quiet. I mean, if that’s possible to keep it civil, since it’s one of the two topics one is not supposed to discuss in polite company. Maybe if there are any charities you support, we could discuss them and how best to give them support, for those so inclined.
I’d probably also suggest maybe noting which topics are /not/ appropriate to mention or discuss…? After all, this is your party, Guy. 🙂 Incessant chat about my newfound addiction for World of Warcraft is probably not on-topic. 😉
Have a cool weekend, everyone. If you get any snow, send it my way. And if I find out my ex-roommate did a portrait of ya, Guy, when she was doing sketches of musicians she liked (and she has a serious thing for Icehouse), I’m gonna laugh.
