I got really rotten seats, but nevermind.… I hope you’ll see it from the stage 🙂
If the weather is nice on that day, you should really go to one of the caffees on the river bank, or on the sava lake…hope you’ll have a good time here (but I doubt you’ll be here for more than a couple of hours)
see you soon 🙂

oh, and one more thing…do try the local plum brandy, it’s the best in the world.…we have one bottle ready for you (don’t worry, we are not going to throw it on the stage 🙂 )

Goddammit 🙂
I will gladly drive all away from Sarajevo to Belgrade or even Zagreb, but at monday 8:00 AM must be at job, too bad the show is at sunday. If it’s on saturday…heh, someday maybe.
If you have time to write, i would like to know any details (if there is any) about “skippin’ out” Sarajevo/Bosnia? Did anyone try to make any arrangements for/from Bosnia, or contact anybody?

Guy
Just read the book, and can’t believe the coincidences!
My first bass was an Aira Pro II, I got married on the same day as your first Pink Floyd gig, the first CD I bought was Bete Noire, my first single (with my own money) Hey Little Girl, I’ve seen you so many times without realising it was you! Floyd at Knebworth 1990, Earls Court in 94 AND McFly came to my house last year and mentioned you whilst we chatted! (thanks to Ant and Dec).
Now, can I have your autograph please? I have a massive collection framed on my toilet wall (see the website). Only the crème de la menthe make it (Beatles, Neil Finn, De Niro etc). Love to have yours if you can help out.… (if I send you my address OR if you’re ever in Cheshire)

After more than two month waiting, I HAVE THE BOOK!
Thank you for you answer Mr Pratt but I didn’t mean Belgrade… Just Belgium, my little country… There is a nice place there to play in a town called Anvers (I have seen David Bowie in concert there… And my father have seen Roger Waters there too…) I don’t know if you know this place, perharps have you already play there…
So I leave you now! I have a book to read!
Thank you again Mr Pratt for good music!

I checked out the tour dates, but to my greatest sorrow I didn’t see Hungary… however I’d have been really happy to make you sign the portrait (or to present it to you) what I drew about you. I hope there will be opportunity to meet you someday!
Best wishes dear Guy, have a safe journey!

Hello Guy;
First up. Great book, and what better man to fly the flag in the defense of the bass player. We met late one night in Adelaide, South Australia on the Floyd tour. Actually you wanted to buy my 1970 P‑Bass and Maton fretless as I recall. Anyway, one remark that you said to me that evening has stuck in my head ever since. You said the 63 Jazz that you bought was the first bass that actually said “ Daddy Daddy “ to your good self. Well it wasn’t until finally got myself an early 60’s J‑Bass that I knew what you meant. They are amazing beasts ! Thanks for the advice, thanks for the tickets, and thanks for the book. All the best with your future musical adventures.

Hi Guy,
I just watched the Abbey Road session on Sundance Channel (thank you Mr. Redford). I did a max volume trial on my television. Luckily, it is a good one, because the room vibrated in natural frequency with your bass without blowing speakers or rattling.
It felt so good to be wowed by the genre of music that is timeless amidst all of the comings and goings of people trying their fine hearts out to improve upon something that is pure.
I wore out several LPs of Dark Side of the Moon until someone invented CDs (thanks to them also).
And, most of all, thank you from a Canadian ex-pat living in Savannah, Georgia…close to heaven.
Cheers,
Mike
