Wow…I like what you (or your webmaster 😉 ) have done with the place, Guy! This is very nifty…tis always nice to know I’m not the only one who thinks black is a nice and readable background color. Just seems like it’s not used as often as one would think it would be.
Sounds like you’re having a great time down under! Adrian Belew?! I am so jealous…what I’d give to be able see him and/or King Crimson live one day. Which reminds me that I STILL need to get the Deja VROOOM and Eyes Wide Open DVDs. Especially the latter, as much as I love the Power To Believe album, and believe it to be just as underrated and great as the Discipline lineup’s work.
Looking forward to reading more about your time in Oz! 🙂

Glad you’re having fun and everything’s going well. I haven’t checked in an atlas or anything but isn’t 5.30pm UK time about 3.30am Australia time?
I know you’re on the other side of the world but do you know what time slot planet rock put your show on? I missed Sunday’s and the Planet Rock’s new website hasn’t got a working listen again feature yet, but more importantly their on-air schedule has gone back to saying that you’re on from 7 till 9pm. Don’t suppose you know if you’ve been shifted again or if it’s just out of date do you? It’s all getting a bit confusing.
Hope everything carries on going well.

The things DJs will do to ensure they still do their shows, even when they’re away.
Back in the day, before the internet (or teh intarwebs as geeks tend to refer to it), it’d just simply have to be someone recording their show and mailing it (mail! what a concept!) to their radio station and praying it got there on time. Now, it’s as easy as having a laptop with music on it, a headset with a mic, and an internet connection to your station’s server. Maybe not that /simple/, but the basic concept is there…
It’s quite interesting to see this change of technology and methods occurring in, say, the past 20 years.
Cheers,
Nix.

Hey Guy,
It was great to see your “My Bass & Other Animals” show on the 4th. Was very suprised to see how nervous you were. I think most people loved the show! Yes the Adelaide crowd was quiet but they were enjoying it. Your show is great so relax when you perform it!
Cheers for the chat to.

Hi Guy,
I saw your stand-up in Adelaide last week. You have many great stories and I tried to keep up, but you were on fire!! I know, I know, I’ll have to read the book, but couldn’t get one at the festival. The magic of the internet should be able to solve that problem though. I listened in awe to the 2 songs you played/wrote at the start of phat bottom end — absolutely beautiful, thank you so much.

Hey Guy,
since you seem to be touring the hell out the world at the moment; when will you visit Scandinavia — or to be more precise: Norway?

Hi Guy, just a brief note to wish you and your family a Merry holiday and all the very best for 2009. Keep up the good work and hope we will be in a position to see you perform live again in 2009. Very best wishes from Phil and Heather

Happy Holidays Guy. Wishing you all the best.
Did you ever figure out why the Russians went bonkers over the empty upside down shoes during Us and Them?
Cheers

Hello Guy,
Sorry to hear that there were a few downers with Australian tour, especially the book issue.
I have to say however, Sydney loved you, the whole audience had an excellent time, and we really would have loved some more, I really hope you enjoyed it and it topped everything of for you.
Thanks for the quick chat afterwards and sorry to see you go so soon.
But again you were so so great, so please come back again.
