   Happy Christmas every­one. I hope Father Christmas brings every­one some nice presents, and a big stick to beat any bankers with just in case you see any (although if there are any bankers read­ing this then you are obvi­ously one of the few nice bankers who have good taste and thus should­n’t be beaten).

   With regards to your email to NPF, some peo­ple else­where have taken it the wrong way but i’ve seen the inter­view and it seemed per­fectly clear to me that the com­ment was­n’t entirely seri­ous. Unfortunately some peo­ple are devoid of com­mon sense when it comes to thinks like these, or they just choose to ignore it so they can have a good old moan about the usu­ally Pink Floyd stuff. Frank;y i don’t think they’re worth lis­ten­ing to.

   I think i’ve wit­tered on long enough, so merry christ­mas every­one.

   I watched the inter­view live here and your com­ment was taken in con­text and was funny — and noth­ing we already did not know from other sources.

   But I do have to take you to account over your choice of date for your Sydney show — the only night of the year that I was being oper­ated on for a bad shoul­der! How dare you! I would have loved to see the show, and to give you a hug to pass onto Gala for the loss of her father and our friend.
