As you can see, my book is finished, and will soon be coming hot off the press. I’m very nervous and afraid, as lets face it, I’m not really a writer.. Hope those of you who get it enjoy it, and feel free to post any questions it raises, but try to be nice(ish)
See you on the road..
x
Guy

Good job. I’m a novelist so I have an idea of what’s involved in getting a book to print. It’ll be fun to have a read through and see what you’ve been up to. Enjoy the release.

“There once was a Guy who played bass
With a precision and passionate pace
He out classed the many
Considered just “ten a penny”
And whom David could never replace”

Wait…where am I ?
🙂
Congrats Guy!

Matt did it first!
There once was a Guy who played bass
I bought him a beer for his face
Don’t tell the boss
He’ll be jealous, of course
No worries, he still sounded like an ace.
Thanks Again for meeting us at Luka’s in Oakland. I’ll never forget that. Please keep us up-to-date, here in the States, on where and when we can get your book. I’m all for a grass roots things. You just have to come do a tour out here!

Guy,
Great news on the book. I am really looking forward to reading it, since I know you might not be to the States very soon.
Oddly enough, your cover looks like every book I had in school, covered with bands, guitar makers, and I also had lots of ticket stubs and so forth.

In reference to George’s post. The cover takes me back to my adolescent “daydreaming” days of scribbling on the cover of my notebook and thinking about what record I’ll be playing along with when I get home from school. I remember sketching pictures of me playing bass in a band on stage in highschool when I was supposed to be studying in class.
anyway, I’m looking forward to getting the book Guy.

Just for grins…
There once was a Guy who played bass
Whose grin could be seen up in space
With bass he does tango
A shadow flamingo
And our hands his book will soon grace.
