   Have fun Guy, i won­der if Putin has replaced the KGB tea-sell­ers yet? (Just don’t men­tion the war! oh hang on, wrong coun­try) You aren’t going by a hire car Mercedes through Europe are you?

   Finished the book this week and i promptly started read­ing it again, in case i missed any­thing the first time round. It’ll brighten up a lot of peo­ples christ­mas thats for sure.

   Hello Guy. Not sure how to con­tact you when you are in Melbourne later this month. How about send­ing me a mes­sage through my MySpace site, and when you’re in town, we can debate the sub­tle dif­fer­ences between the 62 and 63 J‑Basses over a bevvie.

   Also.…was the Maton Fretless a boat anchor ?.….well it dis­ap­peared once the Wal fret­less came along !

    Hi Guy,

    I’ve been a fan since Delicate Sound Of Thunder and have just fin­ished read­ing your book which, I must say, has had me laugh­ing out loud more than a few times.
    I also just saw ‘Remember That Night’. A ter­rific DVD but just not enough shots of the bass player. (tell ’em I said so).
    In your book you men­tion using a pick on occa­sion but in this most recent dvd you seem to play the entire gig with a pick.…blisters from the night before?

    Look again! I only use a pick on the old Floyd num­bers..
