Those of you in the UK might be interested to hear that I’m appearing on Jonathan Ross’ Radio 2 show at 10.30am Saturday. Those in other countries can listen online I believe..

Guy
I overheard you say at the Chelsea gig that you were going to be on ‘Jammin’ with Rowland Rivron soon. That is a great show.

Howdy Guy,
Just dropping in to say I hope your delightful sounding show makes it to the United States. We are in dire need of more aching grinnies over here!
Smiling at you, Nance
Guy, I listened to Jonathan Ross show on saturday morning… It was really funny! I liked the part when you talk about your father-in-law Rick Wright!

Hi Ho Guy,
The local press (Australia) have just announced the very good, wise even, news that you are touring … well they say Brian Ferry, but we all know how the press are with misleading information! Anyhoo, I certainly look forward to you confirming here that you will be touring with him. And maybe if we are really lucky you will doing a little work on your own?
Either way, triffic news.
Cheers
Christopher

Hey Guy! I discovered your blog here — nice site! I’m coming to see your show on Monday in Edinburgh. A nice 3‑hour drive for me! I was wondering — are you around before or after the show? As (another) aspiring bassist, I’d love to meet up just for a few drinks and chat? Your book provided some brilliant reading for me while on holiday and I can’t wait to hear/see more live.
Karen - August 19, 2007 3:14 AM
Hi,
As per Christopher’s comments, seems Mr Ferry is touring Australia in November, Dylanesque Tour.
Will Mr Pratt be joining him in the beautiful Hunter Valley ?
Karen.

Hey that’s pretty cool.
Have read your book several times now and spilt coffee all over it in westminster so now it really looks worn. Quite an interesting look i must say… Can’t believe your doing your stand up at the Fringe, i was there last week and i might come up again just to see your show.…
.…oh yeah and possibly my girlfriend as she’s there working on a show called Escaping Hamlet i believe, but y’know.. it’s Guy frickin’ Pratt.
Your book is the first book ive read in along time that has really made me laugh. Good show Mr. Pratt.
Guy - August 19, 2007 3:19 PM
I am indeed coming to the Antipodes with Mr Ferry. I have no plans to do any shows of my own but would love to if anyone can help?
I am always happy to say hello to anyone after my shows, although a few drinks might be pushing it, as I’m only up for a week and have a lot of people to see!
Glad so many of you seem to enjoy the book

Your show at Underbelly in Edinburgh last night was brilliant. My friend nearly fell of her seat at the David Coverdale stuff — best laugh we’ve had in ages.

Hi Ho Guy,
The Good Lady and I are hoping to take up your offer of “hello” when you are in
Brisbane (Dec 1st performance) … but for us that would involve morning-lunch-afternoon time
frame; ie ‘gidday in your hotel foyer or some such’. After the show is no good for us (country folk living hours from Brisbane). Sorry to be picky. But, if that’s
no good, she’ll be right. We’ll still like ya. 🙂
Karen - September 1, 2007 6:14 AM
Hi Guy,
Well while, Christopher is in there asking, can I jump in?
If you are going to be at Hunter Valley performance on the 24th Nov, besides being great place for a performance it is the one I am going to.
If you have time, it would very nice to meet (again) after 20 years either before or after and maybe sign my book.
Ta, very much,
Karen.
