Hi Guy, just saw the docu on Ch4. I note you were using an Ashdown combo. I’m wrestling with an Ashdown ABM500 at mo; what settings did you use during the show?? Would be very grateful if you could let me know then I could try them and see if sounds better than the ones I’ve used thus far. Soz for the anorak type question! 🙂 Good luck with the tour.
Renee - March 4, 2007 11:31 PM

Hello Guy.
How its going.
Im from Argentina, and im very happy because this saturday i will see Roger Waters on stage. Wath do you think about him? Is he a good person? I think that Gilmour, Mason, Wrigth and Roger Waters too are more interested in the money that in the music. I like pink floyd music to much.
Is there any possibility that David Gilmour comes to Argentina?
Ok i think I have done to much questions for this time.
You now, I like very much the solo that yo do on One slip. Is that complicated? I play bass to.
Sorry for the orthographic mistakes.
If you want to mail me, my email is Sebla1989@homail.com
hehe good wishes… Seba

Hello Guy!
It’s been a while since I checked in with you. Looks as though you’re keeping pretty busy this month, eh? Hope you’re enjoying the tour and we’re still looking forward to that book of yours as well as the comedy tour to follow.
Just a suggestion, try to arrange your comedy tour schedule to be in the Seattle area somewhere just before or after August 18, if you know what I mean (wink, wink)! I’ll have a cabin ready for you along with a few crazy bloggerfolk from that ‘other’ website ready to hoist a pint in your honor!! Actually, most of them are Irregulars on your website as well aren’t they?
Take care my friend! Peace!

Hey Guy, Please come and relax at Gabreille’s resort on the 18th of August. Its our first Barnfest 2007. The people who will be there are from Davids web Site. You would love it She has cabins,Pool, Hot Tub and there will be a huge Barbeque. Plus it is located on a beautiful river with 40 plus acres of land to hike. I know you are on a buzy schedule. But if you can bring the family and chill out for a few days and do some great fishing. Take Care, Thomas
I’d love to make the barnfest but it may be a tad ambitious..

Thank you very kindly for considering the invitation, Guy. Please let us know if there’s anything we could do to help make it less ambitious, if you’re amenable.
Still looking out for when you’re in town, dude. All the best from mostly sunny NYC.…

Looking forward to seeing the show in Toronto sometime soon. I have a LOT of people interested 🙂

Guy…
Some helpful hints when in Scotland.
1. Don’t refer to the locals as “Sweaties” as they tend to get upset. For those of you not accustomed to rhyming slang this means Sweaty Sock = Jock = Scottish Person
Just came back home from Amsterdam,
What a gig it was, I enjoyed every mintute there,
I would like to thank you and to ask you to thank all Mr. Ferry band,
It is difficult to point highs and lows of the night because it was all time high,
Thanks a lot,
Tomasz

I’ve read the reviews of your show and doesn’t it feel a bit strange to be routinely referred to as self deprecating. It sounds as though you’re abusing yourself. But what would I know, I’m just a bassplayer?
Rudders - Toronto - April 5, 2007 8:00 PM
Guy…Help!
I’ve nearly finished the seventh series of the West Wing on DVD and very soon there’ll be a big gap I’ll need to fill
Sooo… maybe a show in Tornto will ease the pain? 🙂
(Although a new series of the Trailer Park Boys starts next week)
There’s self deprecating or arrogant, and not a lot in between, I know which I’d rather be..

It’s coming to an end like all good things must 🙁
This one from a few days ago is made up of clips sent in from the community around it:

Caution it’s longer than ‘Echoes’ 😉
