I’d just like to wish a merry Xmas and happy new year to everyone who bothers to pass by.
2006 Has been a great year for me, and I’ve had loads of great feedback from bloggers, in itself a significant contribution.
Next Year sees me touring with Mr Ferry, and then my book comes out, which I will be supporting with an extensive tour of my one man show.
Hope to see you there.
Cheers!
xx

Hell, if I’d known you were touring with Brian Ferry I’d have bought a ticket!
Have a wonderful Christmas.

Hello GP,
I don’t celebrate xmas myself but I appreciate the sentiment. In my house we observe Festivus every Dec23rd. We gather the family together and decorate a pole. Each person grabs the pole and then airs their grievances towards the others in the family. Then the head of the family is beaten down to the ground. We then have dinner and burn the pole.
Sounds Scotish huh!?
Anyway, Happy Festivus!

Hello Guy,
It now being 00:10 Christmas Day in cold, rainy Sydney,
Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced with the most enjoyable traditions of religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.
I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted Gregorian calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make our country great and without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.
By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms: This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance
of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.
No trees were harmed in the sending of this message.

Its Xmas Day in Britain here at last!!! I wish you, Sir Guy, a very merry Christmas, and I wish your family, and as well, the great bloggers of this site, a healthy, merry christmas.
I’m ever so so sorry to bother you Mr. Pratt but I do have one question.
It has come to the attention that Brain Ferry is performing at Princess Diana’s Mermorial Gig at the New Wembley Stadium. Basically, all I want to know is, will you be there alongside him buddy?
All my wishes,
Simon J (Happy Days!)

Well Guy, I’d just typed up a long, semi-articulate/clever post and then managed to delete it somehow. I know, it’s like ‘the BIG fish that got away’ … me, articulate and clever? Who do I think I am, Rudders or Angelo?
Soooo, the general gist of my missing message was to wish you and yours a fabulous and happy new year! I’d also like to thank you for your part in making the last year one I’ll remember always. I don’t know if we can top it, but we can sure try, eh?!!
Also, I (along with your many Irregular friends) am anxiously awaiting the release of your book and the promised tour of North America that will follow. Having had 6 (SIX!!!) years of Bush and cronies, we are desperately in need of your jocularity! Not that there wasn’t a ton of unintended humor as a result of Bush et al, but once you’ve stopped laughing at their stupidity you have to sit down and cry!! Come and tickle our funny bones Guy … we need a man like you right about now.
Peace and love!

Back again …
I wanted to congratulate you on your ARIA Hall of Fame award. Sounds like a multi-purpose sort of award too what with it being pointy and heavy to boot.
Also the Bryan Ferry gig sounds like it will be a blast. Great musicians and all plus Bob Dylan songs? How could you go wrong? Right now it appears that you’re only touring the UK plus a few European cities, but if you bring it to the states I’d surely be up for the gig!!
Goodnight and good luck, as they say.
Peace,
Gabrielle
