   Hi Ho Guy,

   My copy of Maximum Speed turned up in the mail today and it’s a cracker. Damn good fun indeed hap­pily remind­ing me of all the good times that were to be had way back when. I sim­ply love its raw­ness and energy.

   A big thanks to you, Rob and Dave (bless him) for the efforts and, if you get the chance please pass on thanks and grat­i­tude to whomever it was that got this disc to see the light of day.

   Thank you for the amaz­ing bass work you did on 3^rd Matinees’ ‘Meanwhile’.… My good­ness.
   I just found out it was you who played most all of the bass lines on the album.
   To say you have been an inspi­ra­tion to me is such an under­state­ment.
   Those notes and rhythm heal…
